FANTASTIC
As soon as I figured it out, it became very clear how well made this game is. I really love how you spell out the feeling of hopelessness during the chess games.
The only issues that come to mind are the typos, which IMO, are excusable. The flow being pretty cryptic may have been viewed unfavorably by others, but I see it as adding to the overall story. Makes it immersive, since usually in these types of games, the player character automatically figure out what they should do, and then you pick up from there. Here, it presents you with the things, but does not tell you what to do with them. You're supposed to put it together yourself, which feels very satisfying once you do get it.
